Day 5/6/7/8/9 Part 1

Well me and Mark spent the last of my days either visiting CNE or Visiting friends we made on my last trip. Day 5 was visiting with the Wilson family who I love dealry and invited me in no questions asked - I took some photos for them in the evening and was lovely to have some delicious home made food. Considering we were not able to have much home made food the whole time I was there - nasty landlord thats all Im going to say. Anyway it was wonderful to be round wonderful company.

Thursday was to the shops and got myself some needed trainers - my feet are big and I dont like the selection in the UK I found the perfect pair and was so pleased that I found them at such a good deal. Mark took me to his "favourite secret shoe place" that equals to I cant remember the name of it...I know it was in London, Ontario thats all - anyways it was a much needed shopping visit too I got essentials so I had a good time doing that - who wouldnt eh? Then when we had come home we got some sandwiches made by my own fair hand...lets get excited...ahem...anyway I made them so we could go straight to the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) Mark really wanted to me go as it only just opened not so long ago. It was also exciting for me because I could go and see Duff Goldman from Ace of Cakes/Sugar High. I loved it and also loved seeing people try to get down the centre to they could see him and then had to get escorted away because it was a safety hazard ha ha thats what you get for trying to push in! We had come early and I mean 2 hours early to get somewhere in the middle front. It was definately worth the wait he brought two of the lasses from Ace of cakes too who I recognised. He had some really funny stories and answered questions from us the audience. He was so short I was shocked but I loved the fact he made up for it in personality he was such a laugh. I loved what he said about how he copied other chefs until he learned his own style. I think we can all draw from people we admire and then we branch off into what our own personal style is I know thats what I was like. "Fake it till you make it" he said.

So we then went to St thomas Saturday AND Sunday to meet up with Marks friends Pete and Laurie and their beautiful daughter. I got on with Laurie right away and made us feel really comfortable and just amazed at how much me and Laurie had similar paralels. Its great to find someone who gets you, and to be a woman. I love my Mark to bits but he doesnt always get women stuff. All you ladies out there will get what I mean. So because time was short with us and only could really have a day and a bit together me and Laurie are looking forward to time where we can hang out and watch treasured movies like fried green tomatoes. YESSS I am excited!

The last day was really hard I knew it was coming we went to the Toronto temple to spend the last few hours together and was able to pack and talk and rest before I had to leave on a big plane. I cried alot and I didnt want to go AT ALL. I knew I had to though and get on with things. I really am looking forward to going again soon if everything works out for me. Anyway here are the photos with it...enjoy!

My fave photo was this one above he waved to us from the mirror above he was like WOAH OOOOH HELLO
